Whether you are looking for things to do in Kansas City or just the best restaurants in Kansas City, I believe this is the best list I can put together. Great list, David! I do agree that Murray’s has a great patio – I sat out there today. I don’t know about how great the bar is for the neighborhood, simply because I live in B’side. But I can tell you that unfortunately, that’s where it ends for me. The service was silly and spotty (and indulged in one of my pet peeves: over-explaining why things were wrong – I don’t care, I just want my food the way I ordered it and not raw in the middle), the food was mediocre at best (except the ranch dressing, which was wonderful) and we were, at noon, two of 5 people in the place. I’m sorry it’s not doing well, but there may be glaring reasons for it.
I have never heard of the Glore Psychiatric Museum. Now I have to go. In fact, there are a few places on your list I’ve never been to and now am required to do so.
One last thing, I’d like to add that Crybaby Ranch is the best band name EVER.
Thanks for another great year!
Your bartender at the Flea.
